Esperanza means "HOPE" in Spanish, a word I learned while as a year long exchange student in Costa Rica as a teenager. It seemed very suitable when starting my business to express that hope in the name.
Hope begins in the dark, the stubborn hope that if you just show up and try to do the right thing, the dawn will come. You wait and watch and work: You don't give up.

We have been in business for 16 years, and we are a registered business, our business number is on all receipts. Our facilities are also SPCA approved so you can be assured that our dogs and puppies have the best of care.
We are very happy to show you our dogs, our puppies and our home. If at all possible, I will arrange my day and our family activities to make sure we are available when you want to meet the puppies. All I ask is that if an appointment is made with me and it works out that you can't make it, please please please have the courtesy to let me know in a quick phone call or email.
You can also check us out on Facebook under Esperanza Kennels. I am posting questions or comments that are messaged to me asking for input from other members. It's like an interactive forum on facebook. If you have questions you'd like advice on or could share some experiences, please join us there.
